Jessie D. Mees is a metalsmith, painter, wild child and business owner. Originating from Ohio, she acquired her BFA at Savannah College of Art and Design in 2012, has lived/worked in New York City, Denver, and currently resides in Saint Louis. Jessie has received Pell grants, two RAC grants, and won the South Side Spaces competition for 6 months free rent in 2023 for a brick and mortar artist collective. She is a lover of all animals and nature, finding inspiration in the mundane as well as the magnificent. Jessie's main purpose is to inspire others to create.
